Surprise, Surprise: Lopez fills rotation vacancy

The Phillies have called up Rodrigo Lopez from Triple-A Lehigh Valley to take Antonio Bastardo’s spot in the starting rotation.
Lopez will make his season debut Friday against the New York Mets.
The 33-year-old right-hander was 5-4 with a 3.91 ERA in 13 starts with the Iron Pigs this season.
The journeyman is 65-65 with a 4.80 ERA lifetime in the major leagues. He has pitched for the Rockies, Orioles, Royals and Padres

Nice work on the banner. Knowing how much Rollins bothers most Mets fans, I can even appreciate the slight that you gave him by making him barely visable in upsidedown reflection. Anyway, I’m glad to have a Phils contingent to the site.

Honestly I have no clue who many of the guys are by face.
I just went to espn’s phillies team page and went thru entire 40 man roster and downloaded all the images except for the players that showed zero salary as i didn’t recognize their name so i figure they had to be a minor leaguer.
Rollins being hidden was just that once i decided to put the name and the phanatic where i did the idea of going back and finding who is no longer visible and moving images around was a tad too much. In the end I figured the idea of having many of the teams faces would be alright.
