The New York Post does a great job with a sit down interview of Livan Hernandez:

SERBY’S SUNDAY Q & A WITH… LIVAN HERNANDEZ

Topics include Johan Santana’s “I’m a Man”, Livan’s pursuit of becoming Cuban’s winningest pitcher, heart, pitching in NY, The Subway Series, favorite managers, turning down the Yankee’s, President Bush, and more.

    Hey, thanks for this post.
The more I get to ‘know’ Livan, the more I like him. I haven’t seen it yet - think it’s on Sports Night tonight - but apparently the rest of this interview? or another interview? is on tonight. Saw a preview where Livan is calling out players who don’t play or take themselves out of the lineup for something like a stomachache - hahahaha. In his halting English, I think he’s trying to make a point about some prima donnas in the game today.
