Good morning guys !! It’s time for the early a.m. edition of “This Day In Mets Infamy With Rusty”. SO let’s take a deep breath and be joyous that today is an offday and hope tomorrow gets the Mets back on track

celebrating birthdays todayis our second baseman from the ‘92 regime and former manager from ‘05 -’08 Willie ” I’m a victim of racism ” Randolph (1954)
also celebrating a birthday is centerfielder from the ’90’s Lance “speedy” Johnson (1963) - Lance was traded midway through the ‘97 campaign to the Chicago Cubs for Turk Wendell and Brian McCrae and as much as I loved Turk, Lance was one of the best outfielders we ever had.
And lastly Mo Vaughn’s favorite color is - MAUVE !!
