First lets start with the release of the great/legendary pitcher Tom Glavine. I was shocked whenI heard the new, even a little dissapointed as I was under the impression he would be inserted back into the starting rotation once he came off the DL and finish off his career with Atlanta…apparently I was wrong. But this also tells me something that maybe Glavine was’t going to be able to pitch this year so instead of putting him through anything the Braves decided to release him.  I’m veryyyyy mixed on this as he has always been such a great part of the Braves staff and always been a class act while in baseball. Not only that he is from my state of Massachusetts so it is always good to see someone from the state do well. I’m still a little shocked so I’m going to be doing a tribute to Tom Glavine in a few a days…so on to the next thing Nate McClouth.  Bye bye Glavine

Lovvve this trade that the Braves made. The Braves beefed up their outfield with the acquisation of McClouth. They bring a solid bat, someone with a mix of speed and power to a hurting Braves outfield. The Braves gave up outfielder Gorkys Hernandez, and pitchers Charlie Morton and Jeff Locke. A little sad too see Gorkys gone, but I can’t stress it enough how GREAT a pickup this was by Atlanta as McClouth is always one of my favorite outfielders in all of baseball….Next up Tommy Hanson. Tommy Hanson fianlly get’s the call up for the Braves !!! Being one of their biggest prospects for the last few and being hailed as MLB ready for the same, Tommy Hanson will finally get the chance to play in the big leagues. The 6′6 right hander will make his major league debut on Saturday against the Brewers. Very interested how he lives up to all of the hype not from me, but also from everyone in the baseball community. Hello Tommy
